Configuration and comparison of the 1 equipment welding power supply
As we all know, one of the key factors of the welding quality is the configuration of welding power supply. At present, there are four kinds of power configuration or welding method, in order to select the best, we have a comparative analysis.
(1) CO2 gas protection power supply (melting) using CO2 gas to do the protection. Advantages: low price of CO2 gas, high production efficiency, welding current density, weldment matrix molten pool depth, melting efficiency is high, fast deposition speed, production efficiency than manual welding high 2 ~ 4 times, and anti rust, good anti cracking performance; disadvantages: large welding current, welding surface forming is poor, more splash. (2) MIG gas shielded arc welding (melting), the use of argon to do protection. Advantages: welding weld pool depth, welding arc stability, welding seam forming, high production efficiency, defects: because of the protection of gas with argon to achieve the welding process, the high price of argon and MIG welding power supply on the price of 3 ~ 4 times higher than CO2/MAG.
(3) MAG gas shielded welding power supply (melting pole). The use of argon and CO2 mixed gas protection, in which argon was 80%, CO2 was 20%. Advantages: welding weld pool depth, high efficiency, less welding splash, can obtain a stable welding process and beautiful weld.
(4) TIG gas protection power supply (non melting pole), the use of argon gas protection. Our company is usually used in the welding power is this kind of (manual tungsten argon arc welding). Advantages: because the electrode only through the current heating of the workpiece, so that the formation of the workpiece and welding wire welding, welding and welding, weld forming beautiful; shortcomings: arc weld pool depth, low efficiency, low production efficiency. Because of the welding process used in the protection of argon, the price is high.
Through the comparison of the welding power supply configuration and the expert's suggestion, the CO2/MAG welding power source is adopted to manufacture the automatic welding machine tool for the double ring seam.
2 equipment and working principle
